Install SlopStamp in four steps.

The extension filters once it is connected to an account with an active subscription.

Download and extract

Download the ZIP, then extract it into a folder you will keep. Your browser needs that folder after installation.

Open your extensions page

Enter your browser’s extensions address, listed below, and turn on Developer mode. It sits in the top right corner, or in the left sidebar in Edge.

Load the folder

Select Load unpacked and choose the extracted folder containing manifest.json.

Connect your account

Pin SlopStamp, open it, choose Connect extension, and approve the connection on this website.

Type the address for your browser into its address bar to reach Developer mode and Load unpacked.

Keep the extracted folder

Moving or deleting it disables the unpacked extension. Expected extension ID: dopafppdnfabbkgkigfdgoakpblmockl.

Updating SlopStamp

Your browser does not update this preview on its own. When the extension shows an update badge on its icon, install the new version over the old one. Your account and settings carry over.

Download the new ZIP.
Extract it and replace the files in the folder you kept.
Open your browser’s extensions page and click Reload on the SlopStamp card.

Install troubleshooting

If something does not go to plan.

My browser says developer mode extensions are disabled

Chrome and Edge disable unpacked extensions on some managed or work profiles. Install it on a personal profile instead — the same account works across profiles once connected.

I moved or deleted the extracted folder

Your browser loads an unpacked extension from that folder every time it starts, so the extension stops working. Download the ZIP again, extract it somewhere permanent, and load the new folder.

The Connect button did not open anything

A popup blocker or a second browser profile usually causes this. Open this website in the same profile where the extension is installed, then press Connect again from the extension popup.

The extension ID does not match the one shown above

That means your browser loaded a different folder than the one from this download. Remove the extension from your browser’s extensions page and load the freshly extracted folder again.

How do I update to a newer preview?

Download the ZIP again, replace the contents of the folder you kept, then click Reload on the SlopStamp card on your browser’s extensions page. Your account and preferences carry over untouched.

Does it work in Firefox or Safari?

Not yet. SlopStamp runs in Chromium browsers: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera, and Vivaldi. The steps are the same in each, apart from the extensions page address listed above.

I subscribed but filtering has not started

Filtering needs both an active subscription and a connected extension. Open the extension popup and check that it shows your account; if it does not, press Connect and approve it on this website.
