Terms of service
These terms govern your use of the SlopStamp website, browser extension, and API. By installing the extension, creating an account, or otherwise using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use SlopStamp.
Who we are
SlopStamp is built and operated by an independent developer as an individual, not by a company. In these terms, "we", "us", and "our" mean that developer.
What SlopStamp is
SlopStamp is a browser extension and service that covers posts in your feed according to rules you set. It is a personal filtering tool. It never posts, likes, comments, messages, or changes anything stored on the platforms you use. Covering a post only changes what you see in your own browser, and it is always reversible.
Third-party platforms
SlopStamp is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn, X, Reddit, or their owners. Those names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe which sites the extension works on. Your use of those platforms remains governed by their own terms.
Platform accounts
The platforms SlopStamp works on set their own rules about browser extensions and can change those rules or how they enforce them at any time. We cannot guarantee that a platform will not restrict, suspend, or close your account while you use SlopStamp, and we are not responsible if it does. You choose whether to use SlopStamp with your accounts, and you accept that risk.
Your account
You need a Google account to sign in, and you are responsible for activity under your account. One subscription covers your personal use across your own devices.
Subscription and billing
- The plan is $9.99 per month, billed by Dodo Payments.
- It renews automatically until you cancel.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing page, with no retention step.
Refunds
If the service did not work for you, email flamme.labs@gmail.com within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it, as long as the account has not seen significant usage in that period.
Usage allowance
Each subscription includes a monthly allowance of analyses, shown in your dashboard. If you reach it, filtering pauses and your feed is left exactly as the platform rendered it until the allowance resets. We will never charge you more than the subscription price.
What we do not promise
Filtering is a judgement call, and it will sometimes be wrong in both directions. The platforms we support change their pages without notice, which can temporarily break filtering on that site. We publish a known-limitations page and fix breakages as quickly as we can, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or perfectly accurate filtering.
If our service is unavailable, the extension leaves your feed completely untouched rather than guessing.
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Your content
The posts the extension reads belong to their authors, not to you or to us. By using SlopStamp, you allow us to process and store the text the extension sends, together with the analysis result, for the purposes described in our privacy policy: running the filter, investigating mistakes, and improving detection.
Intellectual property
SlopStamp, including the extension, website, API, prompts, models, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. While your subscription is active, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own filtering. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute it, except where the law expressly permits.
Acceptable use
Do not resell access, attempt to extract our prompts or models, or use the service to process content you are not entitled to read. We may suspend an account for abuse that threatens the service or other users, without explanation.
We may also suspend or close any account at our discretion, at any time and without explanation. If we do, we will refund the unused portion of the current period, prorated by the days remaining.
Indemnity
You are responsible for how you use SlopStamp. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time by emailing flamme.labs@gmail.com. We may close an account for a breach of these terms, and will refund any unused portion of the current period if we do.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will publish the new version here and update the date at the top. For significant changes we will email you before they take effect. Continuing to use SlopStamp after the new terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not, you can cancel and delete your account.
